Can anyone think of a movie/tv episode where someone kisses someone else to shut them up? It could be drama, comedy, action, movie, tv, guy, girl, whatever. Just where someone kisses someone else to shut them up.

I've become quite interested in getting all kinds of drawings of Doctor/Rose in the last few days. I've found one of Nine/Rose, one of Ten/Rose, and three of TenII/Rose. And I know -- if only through the comics and storybook -- there have GOT to be more out there.

So, linkie?

I would like to learn how to make my own lj layout designs. I know HTML and I can do graphics, plus I've been told by professionals that I have a pretty good idea for web design, but I don't know the basics, and my brain gets bogged down with the technical directions. I've been using different word plays in google search to find an easy, understandable tutorial for figuring out how to make an lj layout design (I've picked up a bit more on how CSS works at least!), but I haven't found something that really just lays it out in plain English.

So, can anyone provide some options of where to look? I'd really appreciate it.

So with this new job, I'll finally be able to buy the Who DVDs as well as SDoaCG in January, but the thing I want to know is are the episodes complete? I've watched the BBC/ITV versions of the shows, not the US airing on Sci-Fi (which I know cut minutes from Who), nor Showtime's airing of SDoaCG. So I wanted to make sure ... are the episodes on the US Who DVDs (which has Sci-Fi listed on the box art work) the FULL episodes as aired on BBC as opposed to the edited Sci-Fi airings, and are the Showtime airings (thus what will be on the DVD) of SDoaCG the same as the ITV versions?

I just want to make sure I don't shell out the money for the DVDs and then not get the full episodes.

Thanks in advance! :D

Does anyone know how I can get rid of my journal title OFF of the pretty Billie header I made? 'Tis very annoying. Thank you to [ profile] alexiscartwheel!

Also, for some reason there is just the slightest bit of space between bg2 and the header image on the left side and I'm not sure why. I thought I might have put an extra space in when I uploaded the images to my account (as opposed to just using [ profile] grrliz's uploaded images) and then put those urls in, so I redid it, just pasting her direct code in and the same thing happened.

Well, it's sorta fixed, by removing the nav strip, it's mostly fixed, but the top part above the header is still a bit crooked with the bottom part. Oh well.

Any help would still be mucho appreciated. (I accidentally deleted this entry when I went to edit it last time. Oy, so sorry [ profile] alexiscartwheel, you really did help!)

So, you like my header?!

Can someone link me to some sites that have some good Torchwood cast images? I want to play around and make some Rose, Donna, Gwen (possibly Tosh) desktops, icons.
arabian: (David & Billie Dancing)
Despite being psychotically organized on my computer, I have somehow managed to lose that uber-cute picture of David/Billie's shoes from "The Idiot's Lantern." Would someone please help me out? Thanks.

On a non-related note, I know that my rewatch-review of "Father's Day" is two weeks behind. If you read my last post, you know that I've been in a bit of an emotional slump as of late, and last weekend I had Dragon*Con (the post is coming, but I need my sister to email a certain picture!!!) and this weekend, well, see emotional slump. I just know that FD is going to take FOREVER. It's the episode I remember loving the most from S1, the other episode I remember loving was TUD and that one took my five hours to do up. I know that FD will take longer, with more clips, caps, not to mention long, rambling words on the Doctor, on Rose, on the Doctor/Rose relationship, on the writing/direction, etc., you name it. This one's gonna be a doozy and I want to rewatch and review it when I'm good and ready for it because this one's special to me.

Erm, in case anyone was wondering where the heck the next rewatch-review was.
arabian: (Dr Who (10) - Christmas Invasion)
Does anyone have the Doctor Who "Children in Need" 7-minute special that bridged the end of season one and "The Christmas Invasion?" It just continued exactly after "The Parting of the Ways" ended and showed more of Rose and the Doctor interacting. So does anyone have that as an avi file that they could put up for me to download? I've checked everywhere and am having no luck.

Failing that, does anyone know of a good source where I can convert a VLC file to an avi file -- because I DO have the above special in VLC format.

Sigh, the joys of a new obsession ...

ETA: Got it!!! For anyone interested: Stellar copy (no text/no numbers) of Children in Need 2005 (mediafire download). Enjoy!
