I don't get the Blue Suit hatred

I really don't. Sure, I prefer the brown pinstripes, but I just don't get why the blue suit is SOOOO hated. While watching the show, I never even noticed that he wore a different suit. I didn't. It wasn't until I came online and read all of the dismissive, derogatory insults leveled against the blue suit that I took notice of it. And yeah, again, the pinstripes is better, but I just don't think the blue suit is that bad.

Going into my lonely-non-hating-blue-suit corner now.

For me, it depended on the lighting. Sometimes it seemed to glow this bright blue and the red pin-stripes completely washed out, and then I disliked it. Other times it looked fine. It grew on me over the course of the 4th season. Part of the issue is that he looks SO GOOD in the brown that nothing will ever measure up.

Heh! I've been thinking of posting about this, but your comment in your Ten II thread about not disliking it is what got me to actually getting around to doing so. (And thanks for bringing the best possible blue-suit icon in the universe(s) over here to prove that it's not all bad.)

Right. It's not THAT bad. It's just a suit, not a sigh/drool-worthy one like Mr. Pinstripes, but not horrific either. I mean, come on ... think of some of the Doctor's past outfits. For reals.

I don't hate it, it's just it doesn't look anywhere near as good and I take the first opportunity to mock it! My 'blue suit bashing' tag is mostly in jest, anyway!

I think it serves to have a little layer of emo!ten, which is nice. I like how they selectively used it through the recent sets of episodes.

Yeah, I know that some have assumed it was his "mourning" suit for Rose. Which then makes me wonder what that means if it's Blue!Ten that got Rose. Hmm ...
