Well I didn't see all my Thursday shows so I'm skipping over bits and pieces to respond.
I felt like GA was more of a setting up to get back into it episode myself. Things happened but nothing very dramatic. A building up episode. Granted I watched this early this morning (around 5:00) so I might have missed some nuances.
So happy that freaking check is finally deposited. But could have done without the breakdown in the bank. I think her grief and anguish could have been played better in a quieter method. And yes of course she will pay for that girl's surgery. In fact, I was surprised when the episode ended before she did it.
I usually like musical montages but this one felt very tacked on and pointless. I'm not a Meredith fan either but I liked the snoring bits. I didn't like the Dad bits - she's coming off unlikeable in this because the actor playing her Dad is playing very sympathetic but I like that they are allowing this unlikeable edge to exist. I'm hoping there won't be a quick fix.
Bailey and her stare. Hee! As for George and Callie - all the are they/aren't they they have done with this ship has kind of left me a bit meh about them. I like the actress who plays Callie so I might be able to reinvest in this. Can't tell right now. Christina and Burke were kind of non-entities in this.
As for Supernatural - I'm still knocked flat on the floor by this episode. So frikking awesome. The music, the creepy opening, the kickass storyline and the reveal (sort of) of Sam's destiny. And I too adored Ava. So, so much. I don't want her to be a demon either. I don't have any answers to give you though because I stay completely on the nonspoiled train for this show.
