Dr. Who on Sci-Fi -- Opinions

So I DVRed the Dr. Who on Sci-Fi that came on last Friday. From what I've gathered it's the new version from England. Is this the good one or is only the original good? I like Christopher Eccleston and I like Sci-fi. I was just wondering if this is the one that I hear raves about.

Okay, I'm on ep 2 now and I do like their chemistry. THAT'S what this icon of yours is from, I've always wondered! And CE is just awesome. I know him best from Jude with Kate Winslet and this is definitely a different kind of role.

I just watched this last night and really enjoyed it. I'm new to Doctor Who, so I didn't have anything really to compare it to. I liked both of the leads, though, and it looks like it has the potential to be really awesome. Good to know it's been raved about. :)
