L./V Wallpaper (New JD/KB promo shot)

Squeee!!! An actual Logan/Veronica promo shot. It's not the bestest ever, it's kinda stiff and air-brushed, she looks pissed and he looks sorta scared, but it's a promo shot. By golly, it's a promo shot!!! So, I couldn't resist.

(Yes, yes, I know I called them "LoVe" which many dislike, but it fit the text, so that's why I used it. I do try to avoid using LoVe in lj. I really do.)

Squee! That's so pretty Jennifer! You made it look much better than the promo that was released because you're right they were a little too waxy for my tastes. I like how you "overexposed" the image and made that waxy look far less noticable beneath all the light. I don't like my characters to look like action figure dolls. :)

So yeah. Pretty :D

Yeah, I've noticed a lot of people are playing with the colors. Way too much photoshop. I like how this turned out.

Hey, I say use LoVe if you like it. I don't use it because I don't like any portmanteau, but I've never understood why one fan cares what another fan likes to call their favorite pairing. It's your LJ, after all. *g*

I just can't seem to love that pic, much as I love the idea of it and the fact that it exists. I wish I did. It's amazing how the fans are *improving* it.

I'm weird in that I only like pairing the names when it's a couple I like. I don't understand NON-fans using paired names (unless it's an insult). For me, the name pairing is a sign of the oneness/rightness (so to speak) of your couple and calmly using nice paired names for couples you don't like boggles my mind. It really does. Buta gain, I'm weird.

Yeah, I don't really like the pic, other than the fact that his arms around her, she's leaning back on him, her hair looks nice and so do his arms, I don't like anything else. But, you know, it's a promo shot. And that's where I'm stuck at. It's a promo shot and there have GOT to be more out there, hopefully better than this. Hopefully.

Yes. Hopefully! I do like the arms and the leaning and that's about it. I think it's just too serious for me. It's broody and romantic novel-esque and Buffy/Angel season 3 and that's just not them.

Oh, you weren't presumptuous at all, I was just getting my beef out about people using lovey-dovey paired names for couples they don't like.

Yeah, it's just not them, the shot. It's just not them!

I about died when I saw that M/S promo shot the first time. Squee!! But you know, that's not M/S as much as the L/V shot isn't L/V, but the different is that the M/S shot is very, very pretty. The L/V shot is not. My fave M/S promo shot was the one from US when they're laying in the morgue with toe tags on, both looking ultra sexy. Now, that was pretty AND totally M/S.

Ooh and since I'm in a weird icon-matching mood lately, Hee!!!

Exactly. They had tons of promos that didn't really fit the characters but they looked pretty and the actors looked comfortable.

My fave M/S promo shot was the one from US when they're laying in the morgue with toe tags on, both looking ultra sexy. Now, that was pretty AND totally M/S.

I remember that. They actually had lots of promos that I liked, but my favorite picture of them has to be the Rolling Stone one. GUH.
