I call it the finale because as far as I'm concerned it IS the finale forever and ever of Doctor Who for me -- well, at least until Moffat is gone!

So John Simm (the Master -- oh,

eolivet sorry!), Bernard Cribbins (Wilf!!!!!!!!!!) have been seen on set and now, Catherine Tate (the one and only Donna Noble!) was seen. So, that's all very cool and well. And I'm happy about the last two, now I'm just wondering how Billie's going to pop up because I just can not NOT believe that Rusty (and David!) are going to go out without Billie/Rose somehow part of the equation since that character basically *made* the Tenth Doctor and has been such a part of who he is, why he does the things he does, etc.

I am excited about the show, but the specials are just not engendering the same level of OMG!excitement because they are so far apart, plus I have Sheldon/Penny of The Big Bang Theory to obsess over, so that's helped. Still, I am looking foward to the special next week. And, of course, I work -- not this weekend, or the weekend after, but THE weekend of the special. Of course. Fortunately, I'm not AAAAHHHH! gung-ho about it. That might change after I watch it, though.

I have yet to see the U.S. LoM finale -- we're still about four eps behind!!! I heard it was interesting, though, so I'll be curious to see how it differs from the original (which I adored, as you know ;)

I'm probably going to be heading back to campus when people will be making the DW special available to those of us who live in America... So at least I won't be refreshing obsessively.

Really that is why it is for me. I think if this one is REALLY good, I'll be more excited as the next one gets closer. I liked TND, but I didn't LOVE it.

Yeah. I'll probably lose my excitement again even if it's amazing. I have no clue when the next one is, but I heard somewhere that it'll be another Christmas one. Which is just ridiculous.

Eh, if this one is amazing, once the next one comes around (yeah, I heard Xmas too which is just CRAZY!) I'll start getting more excited. If it's just a good episode, I'll probably feel as I did for this one. Looking forward to it, but not jonesing!

I have so many other awesome things distracting me that I'm just not as excited. I mean, so many of my favorite shows are heading towards their season finales and I'm so excited for those, even though I'll hate the summer because of the no new shows thing.

You know, it's kinda nice having Moffat make the decision for me by nature of the fact that he's, well, Moffat. I have no struggle.

It really is as simple as that. Ten IS because of Rose. Literally.

That has summed up my whole experience after Doctor Who.
I just don't think it will ever be the same again but i'm all for giving Matt Smith a chance.

I would be more than happy to give Matt Smith a chance, but I refuse to watch the show under Moffat. I don't recall seeing you on my lj before, but I'm very, very, very, VERY anti-Moffat and so I won't be watching the show under him. I've written a few posts about why.

But yeah, if Billie isn't there in the last episode, it really will feel as if something is missing.
