About JD and "Moonlight" Again ...

I was rereading stuffies on it and I wonder is he recurring or co-starring?** I really, really hope he's co-starring and not recurring because then we would see him in press, ads, etc. And I SOOOO want to see a show/network actually, fully utilize him and since they did cast him for the young, hot factor they've GOT to play that up in promotion, right? Right!?!?! Gah, just imaginging some REAL, ACTUAL promotion for him is just too glorious to imagine. And also, this "a young, mischievous hedge-fund trade" highlighted word has given me an even greater sense of anticipation than before. JD playing mischievous??!?! How can this NOT be awesome?!?! Sigh.

Also, just a heads-up, I've been working on setting up a JD-board (like The LoVe Shack) and with this news, I definitely have something to roll with, so it should (*should* being the key word) be ready to go this weekend, so once I put up the link, I'd love to see bunches of you there. :D

** ETA: Thanks to the link from hiddeneloise, I think we can breathe a sigh of relief. It sounds like he is one of four main characters. So definitely regular and with only four that does give him more opportunity to show his stuff. YAY!!

Thanks for working on a new JD board. All of us can squeeee!!! to our hearts content. My mind is twirling with all the possibilities. Money enough to make JD look really good. Good lighting, no worries about only appearing in episodes because of budget, being an adult!!!! Yes, I'm really looking forward to this show.

Eeek, if he's recurring, I have to change my Fall Preview -- I put him down as one of the stars (along with Sophia Myles and the lead guy). :x Maybe that wasn't such a wise decision... :/

Well, the main one jumping about says "co-starring," maybe I just imagined recurring somewhere because I expect the worst? I hope it's co-starring. It probably is. I mean, would they go to such trouble to recast (and so drastically) a recurring character?

And yeah, I've read "re-curring" and "regular", regarding the character, so I have no idea how much he's gonna actually be promoted or on the show. I hope it's the latter.

After reviewing more stuff (especially info at that site that hiddeneloise linked to), I think it's safe to say that he IS regular, and not just that, but one of the main characters. YAY!

For what it's worth, on the "moonlightfans.com" site, there's a promo shot of what's described as the "main" cast. It's the "before" promo shot, and it has 4 people in it, including the 60-year-old whom JD is replacing! So, if they are including the character in the "main" cast promo, it's a very good chance JD will get his own shots as well. :)

In addition, JD's character, or at least the guy he was replacing, is listed on the CBS Web site, along with only two others (Amber Valletta and the lead -- interesting that Shannon Lucio/Sophia Myles isn't listed...maybe her role is smaller?)

Ooh, I didn't even realize that was Amber Valletta. I like her (but more as a blonde). Yeah, I put a little note in the first post. He's one of the main characters ... so YAY!

so, no more Amber. I like her fine, I don't know Shannyn Sossamon, but I don't really care. :)

Ugh, I hate Shannyn Sossamon. She's like a less-talented, less-attractive version of Angelina Jolie. Well, she was good in her small role in Kiss Kiss, Bang, Bang, but still ... Sigh.
