So, I've spent all morning watching XF clips and music videos on YouTube, and, it's just soooo easy to slip back into the love I feel so strongly for this show, this couple. I can't wait, wait, wait, until I have enough money to sit down and start buying the DVDs. And I really, really, REALLY hope that the 2nd movie actually IS going to happen soon this time because I miss my original, big-time, ohmygod, I'm so obsessed couple.

OMG, it's so weird that you mention X-Files love. My boyfriend and I started watching Season 1...again last night. We have all seasons on DVD(we bought most used, since they are still expensive) and went through them about a year ago, but we wanted to go through them, again :)

Some sources, including David said the 2nd movie is going to happen. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. There are so many things they can explore with a second movie. It's exciting.

I'm thinking of ways to watch 'em all again. I may resort to some downloading.

Oh, I know that it's looking a lot more likely now, but I just don't want to get my hopes up yet.

It's been so great, rewatching the series, start to finish, like I've been doing over the past few months.  My mother has never seen the show, so she got into it when I finally bought the full series on DVD, and we're up to S7 now.  I'm loving every minute of it, all over again.  I'm pretty sure you can never really fall out of love with The X-Files. :)

As for the second movie, there have been a lot of very definitive sound bites lately, not just from David, but from Chris and Gillian as well, and now that apparently a script is finished (!!) and on its way to them, I can't help but think that this is it.  Especially since the issues between Chris and FOX seem to finally be resolved.  Either way, I'm probably way too excited about the prospect, but hopefully this really is it.

I don't think it's possible to fall out of love with it too. It's so amazing.

I do think the 2nd movie is looking more likely, but I just want definitiveness before I get TOO excited.
