Need Betas

I'm really trying to improve my writing and pretty much figure that won't happen unless I practice, practice, practice, so I jotted down a BUNCH of story ideas last night and I intend to work on them. The point is I could use beta-help from as many sources as are willing to help out on them. I'd really appreciate any help.

I'm so not a perfume gal, so couldn't answer this -- what are the most commonly brand name Perfumes worn by young women nowadays?

I don't get the point of tags, how to use them, why to use them, and how they help me as journal-writer and journal-reader. Again, I am an idiot. Any help would be gladly appreciated.
