Jason Dohring as a Vampire?! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THe fact that Jason Dohring landed a role on an upcoming fall series is making the news and I had to share in the joy.

I also supremely love the fact that it's a WB/Silver TV productions because it really shows how impressed WB and Joel Silver were with him. YAY!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!

Delayed SYTCD thoughts

Brief recap of my thoughts of all eps before last night's:

- Loved Ricky sooooooooooooo much. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO pissed that Cedric was picked over him. Wasn't in love with Jimmy, but really liked him and was pissed anew that Cedric was saved and Jimmy was not. Yes, he's great at what he does but she SHOULD not have been picked over Jimmy AND RICKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really, really, really pissed over that.

Not a Lacey fan. She did great the first week, but didn't impress as much last week and it didn't help that I've been rewatching S2 eps and even as a non-major Benji fan, I can't help but compare the two and Benji just totally PWNS HER!!!!!!!!!! Sorry. On her own, she does nothing for me, and as Benji's sister, even less.

I love Dominic and Sabra from week two on and they are MY couple now. Love them, love them, love them. I've loved Hok (and Ricky) from day one, so I hope Hok sticks around for quite a while. Shawna blew me away with her solo last week. Faina so should have been kept over Jessi the week before. Arrrgggh.

And sorta-ot, I can't help but compare the ballroom dances to Apolo/Julianne's from DWtS (OMG!!!!!!!! Apolo's joining the DWTS tour for five shows!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't see any, but still ... AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and A/J's are just so superior in my opinion. I'm so frickin' biased it's not even funny!!!

I did listen to the leaked stuff, but since it's officially out now, I thought I'd post my thoughts. I picked the CD up at midnight at Walmart because I am obsessed. LOL!

About JD and "Moonlight" Again ...

I was rereading stuffies on it and I wonder is he recurring or co-starring?** I really, really hope he's co-starring and not recurring because then we would see him in press, ads, etc. And I SOOOO want to see a show/network actually, fully utilize him and since they did cast him for the young, hot factor they've GOT to play that up in promotion, right? Right!?!?! Gah, just imaginging some REAL, ACTUAL promotion for him is just too glorious to imagine. And also, this "a young, mischievous hedge-fund trade" highlighted word has given me an even greater sense of anticipation than before. JD playing mischievous??!?! How can this NOT be awesome?!?! Sigh.

Also, just a heads-up, I've been working on setting up a JD-board (like The LoVe Shack) and with this news, I definitely have something to roll with, so it should (*should* being the key word) be ready to go this weekend, so once I put up the link, I'd love to see bunches of you there. :D

** ETA: Thanks to the link from hiddeneloise, I think we can breathe a sigh of relief. It sounds like he is one of four main characters. So definitely regular and with only four that does give him more opportunity to show his stuff. YAY!!
