I really don't know... But anyway, Moffat wouldn't have kept RTD's storylines and/or characters. This will give us an official explanation to his crap/lack of continuity. BUT what about River then? She becomes his companion, he falls in love with her (marries her) and THEN he remembers and it's all angst, angst, angst...???
