I totally agree... I've read both of the Thomas books you mentioned and I really enjoyed them...VM as a show has always had the "chapter" feeling of being an ongoing novel to me. And while each season has its moments of huh for me... season three has been awesome on so many levels and i don't know why everybody is always bashing it. Each season is different and can't be replicated. Its like loving a book and then assuming its good loving the movie adaptation as well ...but remembering the reason you love both are different...separate but equal....that is like the season on VM for me...each has its special charm.
