That was bullshit. No fucking way that Anya -- lovely as she is in partnering -- deserved to stay longer than Shauna!! B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shauna was a gorgeous, glorious dancer who gave her fucking all every time -- EVERY TIME!!! -- she hit that stage and was about, oh, a ZILLION times better than Anya tonight. Utter and complete BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just because Cedric (FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) got booted off, didn't mean that his partner had to go. That is just wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. WRONG and I'm pissed off about it and Shauna wasn't even a favorite. GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! Fucking bullshit!!!!!!!!

Don't Forget the Lyrics - With a less adorable, infectious (albeit, vocally-horrific) singer, this show would probably be awful, but as someone who has an extremely eclectic music taste and would love to do a show like this (despite being rather vocally-horrific myself), I enjoy the premise. And their first contestant, Katie, was frickin' adorable!!! Just delightful!! I was cheering her on and was so happy she did so well. And I LOVED her final guess at lyrics (to a song she just did not know): "Katie is going home with her $350,000."

I only watched part of SYTYCD this week since I was watching the soccer matches instead but I was surprise that Shauna left. I wish she got a partner that fitted better with her because like you said, she really gave 110% every week. I'm glad that Cedric left and judging by the expression on his face, he knew it was his time.

I'm not anti-Jaime like so many seem to be, but yeah, Shauna was better than her too. Lacey and Sabra are the only girls I'd put ahead of Shauna (and I don't even like Lacey). It was just so beyond ridiculous. Grrrr.

Jennifer - It all came down to what dances will be on the tour. I guarantee that. The tour made huge, huge amounts of money last year. It sold out within hours of tickets going on sale. And it featured signature dances. These are the signature dances so far this year:

Lacey/Kam's contemporary
Jaimie/Hoks' hummingbird
Pasha/Sara's West coast swing
Danny/Anya's Waltz

This is what they are looking at. Shauna had the best solo by far. BUT she had no good partner dances. And, as much as I liked her, she really didn't shine in any of her partner dances. I know you liked her dance on Tuesday but she really had no spark for me. Part of it was being stuck with Cedric but still, she doesn't stand out very well.

But I'm sorry you were so upset. I was on pins and needles about Lacey until I saw the lineup she was in and then I knew she was safe.

I liked Katie too. I only saw the last 15 min. but this show is far, far better than the NBC clone which I had to stop watching it was so bad.

It really sucks that Shauna left, but I was kind of expecting it, just because they have more female contemporary dancers left than ballroom dancers (and I figured Jaimie was safe because of the Wade piece for the tour.) I really hope Lauren's next to go.

I wish they'd cut Cedric earlier so she might've had a chance to shine with a different partner and edge out Lauren or Jaimie. She got screwed.

I was so pissed off that shauna was kicked off, she was one of the best girl dancer there! I forget what her name was but the girl was wearing that cheeta print outfit should have gone...Im so freakin mad!

That was Anya. Who is gone now, of course, but should have been gone before Shauna. Grrr.
