Thoughts behind the cut.

Well, if I didn't already think he deserved it, that solo of Neil's tonight clinched it. I thought his solo was absolutely outstanding and I'm sooooooo glad he made it. Yes. I'm also happy about Sabra.

Two-non Neil comments. I thought it was cool how they showed the lockdown and as a frequent refresher of the spoiler threads, they did a good job. The actual 'this is it' spoiler didn't come down until earlier today.

And dang, Lauren and Danny hugged goodbye like forever......................

Just one more thing to say: NEIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed Neil's solo tonight as well as Lacey's. A shame that Pasha didn't do this solo last week and I thought the same thing with the Lauren/Danny hug.

Nah. I'm into Neil, but not THAT into him. I'm actually really looking forward to the Neil/Danny number because unlike most on TWoP, I think that it will be awesome from both of them, and not Danny blowing Neil away, because screw TWoP, Neil CAN dance!!!!

I thought Lacey had the best solo of the girls, with Lauren second. Sabra's wasn't that great. Pasha and Neil both had great solos, Danny's was a little lacking this week in flash but lovely interpretation.

Pasha and Lacey hugged a long time too.

Yeah, but they didn't hug like Lauren/Danny did, all over each other.

Eh, Lacey's solo didn't do anything for me. Sorry, she just is not a favorite, I can't get into her. If I'm being honest, I'd like to see her come in last of the four, but I expect her to win or come in 2nd.

Danny's solo was really meh for me too, my least favorite. Neil's blew my socks off.

It's definitely a style difference between Latin and contemporary. I've seen so many contemporary solos that I tend to be a little meh about them. They have to be great to blow me away.

Neil did have a good solo but honestly Sabra's is just so-so. Trust me on this, her technique is just not as good as the judges would have you think it is.

Last of the four? Sniff, sniff. I hope she wins. I hope she wins and makes all the haters eat their words. (I'm not including you with the haters but even you don't appreciate what a magnificent job she has done in all genres. That waltz was so technically difficult and the lovely rise and fall . . . )I don't expect her to win. But there has never been anyone who has had to endure all the crap she has posted about her and her family all the time. Makes me want to vote even more.

I never said Sabra's was great nor claimed that Sabra was without flaw. I've also never not said that Lacey's a great dancer. Out of the four, heck most of 'em, she's handled herself best in all genres, but she just does not appeal to me. And this is about a favorite dancer, she's my least now that Lauren is gone.

As for her enduring more than anyone else? She may have loads of haterz, but she has major defenders also. Every single solitary thing about Neil has been crapped on horrifically and most of his vocal defenders ARE tweens or teenyboppers. Danny got the horrid arrogant edit (true or not) and Pasha was basically ignored. I just don't see how Lacey's had it so bad, especially with alongside the bad she's received as a Schwimmer and an outgoing personality, she's also got the positives of that and there are huge positives too.

Of the four, I love Neil, love Sabra, like Danny and am eh on Lacey. And this is despite the fact that Lacey is a much better dancer than Sabra and Danny is a better dancer than Neil. I just love them and I don't Danny or Lacey.

I will say that if Lacey finishes less than second I'll be utterly shocked.

I really wanted to respond to this:

I know that. I know that the judges spread bullshit to further their agenda. I'm not blinded by the judges, or other fans. I know good dancing when I see it, I also know when there are issues. I've commented on Sabra's lack of perfection in the past. I'm not an expert, but I did grow up with a kickass choreographer, wonderful dancer who critiqued dancing everywhere we saw it. The thing is I don't judge this competition on the best dancer, I judge it on what they are asking me to judge it on: My favorite. And Neil and Sabra are my favorites, flaws and all.
