ooohh...one of my favorite subjects... I definitely reccommend anything by Janet Evanovich- but especially her Stephanie Plum series, it has mystery and a little romance and it will crack you up!
ALso Julie Garwood is my absolute favorite romance author she used to write strictly historical romances but she's branched out into contemporary as well.
