I know there has to be. Can anyone link me to where I'd need to go to do so, or give me a quick run-down?

I really need to block a website for my blood pressure. I'm seriously not kidding.

One guess as to the website. (Revealed in comments.)

All of 'em, really but it was the AI forum this time. Basically, I read a spoiler (or what I thought was) about the song that Brooke was going to sing and so I spoiler-barred the song. I was given a warning for spoiler-barring something that wasn't a spoiler and "making up my own rules." I wrote the mod (ASSHOLE BAYLISS!) and expressed my confusion (in a polite way). He wrote back saying that "I broke the rules, I admitted I did. End of story." I wrote back and said that as far as I knew I hadn't broken a rule, I was spoiler-barring a spoiler to protect spoiler-phobes and actually, you know, follow the rules. I ended the response (all of this in email by the way) saying that I could not fathom why I got a warning for trying to follow the rules and couldn't understand how I could have broken the rules when there was no rule that said: Don't put spoiler bars around something that you think is a spoiler on the off-chance that it might turn out to not be a spoiler.

When I checked the board later, I had no mailbox, so I clicked my name and found a message that in seven years, spoiler-barring songs had never been done, so my bad and I was banned for causing drama.

I'm still completely outraged over this. I know I shouldn't care, but I can't help it. It's the same thing that's happened to my two other accounts. I get fucking warned and banned for things that are not IN THE FUCKING RULES!!!!!!!!!!! It's so stupid because they actually have very good, reasonable rules, but the fucking, power-tripping asswipes who mod the place warn and ban you based on NON-RULES. It makes no fucking sense!!! On what planet does it make sense to get in trouble for breaking a rule that's not fucking in existence!?!?!?!?!! I mean, it's so insanely stupid, unfair and wrong. To get warned/banned for doing something that absolutely NOTHING in the rules say you can't do. How can you know you're doing something wrong when it's NOT IN THE FUCKING RULES?!?!?!?!??!

See?!?! See why I finally just had to block the fucking site so that I can stay away!?!?!?!?

GOD!!!!!!!!!!! I. FUCKING. HATE. FUCKING. TELEVISION. WITHOUT. FUCKING. PITY!

FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Garsh, I feel like a contestant on this season's Top Chef.)

They're all assholes. And the entire site is even more of a joke since they were brought out by Bravo. Like, for instance, one of the few forums I visit anymore is for the Real Housewives of Orange County/New York. Those shows are like the wet dream for what that site is SUPPOSED to be about. But, FOR NO REASON GIVEN, the RHONY board was closed, and the other one is always being shut down for weeks at a time. They don't say why, don't answer when people ask, and if they do say anything about the boards, it's to warn people for going off-topic, but really, that's not the issue for why it's closed and everyone knows it. It's because people snark about the women on the show and since it's Bravo related, they're quick with the fist. It's pathetic.

The site is nothing of what it claims to be. All of the mods there are so self-important and pompous. You're only better off for blocking it completely.

I got warned by Bayliss, too -- I'm pretty sure it's Jacob (actually, I think he outed himself as the AI mod in a recap). I actually really, really hate the new system of naming moderators after TV detectives, and most of them Homicide characters. :/ If there's ever a TWP Kellerman, I'm outta there.

I'm really sorry. :( I'm convinced there's an unwritten rulebook that only special posters can see.

Asswipe. Huh, I didn't even realize that about the mods' names. Typical of them. Totally typical.

Wow, ridiculous! I have had someone else on my friends list banned for something stupid in the AI forums. I hate that place and I never go there for anything important anymore.

I've FINALLY learned my lesson.

Still, it's frustrating because I like the concept and the style of posting so much. I commented in [livejournal.com profile] eolivet's journal that HiddenEloise and I are playing with the idea of making an alternative to TWoP because the posters (for the most part) are great, the idea of really letting go about shows and having fun with it, along with deep conversation is a fabulous idea. It's just that on TWoP, the people who run that place are HORRIBLE, POWER-HUNGRY NIMRODS!
