Lauren takes GORGEOUS photos, and I've rooted for her for awhile, but if she REALLY wanted this, girl would have improved her walk by now. She would have been working on it morning, day and night ... and clearly she hasn't. Also, yes, the commercial in a different language was crap (always is, when they do that), but she walked into it with a totally defeatist attitude. As soon as Tyra said that Whitney was basically trying too hard, but that Lauren wasn't trying enough, I knew that Lauren was toast.

I'm getting better though! I figured out by the editing that Lauren/Whitney would be bottom two. Go me.

I think the final two will be (and actually should be! SHOCKER!) Anya and Katarzyna. I like Anya better as a model, but Katarzyna speaks about, oh, a MILLION times better. Seriously, Anya's voice is a ridiculous stereotype of a dumb blonde. Oy! Aside from the looks of Anya though, Katarzyna clearly pissed Tyra off tonight with the name correction ... especially the second one. Oh, Katarzyna, don't piss off the Tyra!

AHHHH!!!!!!!!! Brooke lives another week!!! (And DAYUM! was she shocked that she was safe. Like totally, completely blown away, shocked!). Me so happy (and shocked as hell too!).

I don't care if she stopped and restarted, Randy, Simon AND David Foster said she did the right thing. I thought she sounded GREAT after the restart and Andrew Lloyd Webber defended the hell outta her tonight, and Simon said she deserved to be saved after watching it back. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, if she could JUST regain that confidence and joy from her early weeks. Come on, Brooke, I know you have it in you!

My other reason of joy? Carly is gone! YES!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry, she may have a great voice, but (a) her personality bugs, (b) I'm shallow enough that her tattoos bug and (c) she may have a great voice, but she CONSTANTLY goes for big notes that are out of her range and she sounds like she's straining and thus sounds like crap. So YAY for Brooke safety and YAY for Carly gone-age!!!

And I'm evil enough to be happy at all of the gnashing of teeth over at Idolforums where they live to sing Hosannas to Carly and rake Brooke over the coals, and COMPLETELY ignore the documented greater popularity of Brooke over Carly -- way LESS times in the bottom, way better selling songs on I-Tunes. In fact, Brooke's "Let it Be" was STILL in the top 5 last week!, and every poll may have the three guys (Davidx2, Jason) tops, but Brooke is ALWAYS the highest of the girls. So take that Carly-loving, Brooke-bashing Idolforums! HAH!!!! Seriously, those people thought that Carly actually had a shot at final three ... over Jason, Brooke, or either David. Seriously. Come on, people!

Top Chef ...

I shouldn't be annoyed with Jen's constant "I'm doing this for Zoe," but damn I was, so I'm glad she's gone. I still like Spike, so I'm glad he came close to winning with his soup. I knew as soon as we figured who the bottom two were that if it were Jen/Steph as the worst, that Jen was going home and that if it were Antonia/Lisa, that Antonia was going home. I wasn't surprised -- or disappointed, as stated above -- with the decision.

Non-episode specific -- I still like Mark -- he mentioned Stephen Colbert! with ACTUAL knowledge!!! -- but I think his days are numbered. I think this is easily going to be Richard/Dale/Stephanie final three. I like Stephanie the best of those three, so I hope she wins.

I love Kata. Love her. And for some reason Tyra HATES her. Thank goodness she has Paulina and Miss Jay on her side. It's like she always nails it and Tyra always finds some way to diss her. HATE! I think Anya is clearly getting the winner's edit and she seems nice too so I'm okay with that.

I loathe Whitney (what a fake commercial indeed), the man (who is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUGLY) and Fatima who is too thin with bad skin.

As for Top Chef - yes, I knew it would be Jen and I too am happy to hear the end of the "Doing it for Zoi" refrain. Geesh. I love that Spike and Andrew did the soup he wanted to do last week and the judges loved it. Hee!

But I would have gladly booted Antonio and Lisa'a butts for NOT doing the challenge. Hopefully they will go soon. I was just happy Stephanie and my hobbit were safe.

Yup, Tyra HATES her. That "whatever" as Kata walked away was one of the few times we've seen Tyra's "nice-nice" slip. Bitch was PISSED. Yeah, I like Anya, she's a sweetheart, sounds like a moron, but she, at least LOOKS like a model.

Re: TC -- The thing is that based on what we saw, Zoe wasn't even that good a cook, HAH! Glad, Jen is gone. So Spike/Andrew ... I still like them both. And Stephanie and Mark.

I get why Antonia/Lisa weren't gone though because not only did Jen/Steph's dish SUCK (and this IS a cooking show), they didn't even follow the full technicality of the challenge either. You could tell the way they were parsing it, though, that Tom kinda sorta really wanted to kick Antonia and/or Lisa to the curb.

Yes, yes, YES!!! What happened to "You're So Vain" Brooke? It's like the big stage sucked it all out of her. (actually...the last time I think she had fun was "Jolene," and got raked across the coals for it, so...)

I thought Carly was really talented, and some weeks, she bugged, but I really thought she did well this week, so that was annoying. Meanwhile, Jason butchered one of the most beautiful songs ever written and lives to stoner on another week. Meh. :p

As for TC, I REALLY thought Spike and Andrew should've won. Richard is winning so much, he's totally the shock boot at 4 (or the runner-up to Stephanie).

(Also, once it was clear Jen/Steph were B2, I knew Jen was gone. Steph has a lot of goodwill built up.)

I keep hoping that when she makes it, it will be her wake-up call and maybe last week was, because she apparently performed flawlessly (per ALW and some who were there) at the dress rehearsal, but then when she had the flub, it re-sucked the joy out of her. So, hoping next week she gets it back. I know it sounds crazy, but Neil Diamond (who I love, damnit!) has a lot of songs that are GREAT for her voice, so I'm hopeful.

I actually haven't watched the whole show yet (just Brooke, but I saved it to go back and watch if Brooke survived!), but even if Carly did good, I just don't like watching or listening to her perform, while Jason I like a lot (he's so beautiful, I hate the dreads, but he's soooooooo classically beautiful), but I don't think that I'll disagree with you on him. It IS a beautiful song.

I liked Lauren, but I figured she wouldn't win. And Whitney will probably go home soon too. I think she's pretty and like that she's plus size, but she comes across as such a snob.

I think you're right about the final two. I think Anya will probably win. I don't think she's particularly pretty, but she's been doing really well and winning all of the challenges.

ANTM is addicting, but at the same time this season and last one haven't been as good. I kind of prefer watching past seasons whenever they show marathons on MTV and VH1. Of coarse it's also bad because I become a mindless zombie staring at the TV for hours, lol.

It was some interview. I think he insulted her to some degree afterwards because the person who posted the positive comment said they didn't post the whole thing, because he annoyed her with something later. But, eh, another professional pointed out: This happens.
