Best. Survivor. Ever!!

Seriously, I am LOVING this season so, so, sooooooooooooo much. Yes, I loved the Aitu Four (and Ozzy, always Ozzy), but it was about watching them beat the annoying bigger tribe. I'm just all out loving just about every moment of this season. It is awesome.

Because of the blind-sides. Because of the smart plays. Because SUGAR is so frickin' awesome I think she's actually TIED with Ozzy now for my fave Survivor player ever. She is that frickin' awesome. She's smart, funny, adorable and is just AWESOME!!! And do you know who also is awesome? Bob. Bob, Bob, Bob, Bob! And having Bob and Sugar team up together in tonight's episode should have totally been THE highlight of the episode. Bob confiding in Sugar and ONLY Sugar; Sugar not telling anyone else. Bob and Sugar coming up with the brilliant plan to totally and completely and absolutely blindside Randy's plan. The fact that while Sugar warned Crystal and co. about the "funkiness" to come, she didn't spill. Another could-have-been highlight of the episode? Seeing Corrine lose yet ANOTHER ally. Hahahahaha! Couldn't have happened to a bigger bitch. Another potential highest of the highlights? Seeing the jury -- Charlie and Marcus, Corrine/Randy's compadres in arms -- cracking the hell up at the blindside of Randy.

Oh, yeah, that blindside? TOTAL HIGHLIGHT OF THE EPISODE! I was laughing so hard, I was damn-near crying. I was hootin' and hollarin' and just dang-near weeping at the entertainment in store. Oh, it was bliss.

- The smug, superior looks on Randy and Corrine's faces.
- The winks and 'we got this covered' looks towards Marcus and Charlie.
- Crystal's quite loud rant about her vote against Randy and how everyone could hear her and Ken, Susie, Sugar and the jury -- yeah, that would be Randy's allies again -- trying to not laugh out loud .
- Randy's proud walk up to Jeff with the admittedly AWESOME fake idol.
- Corrine and Randy realizing their fool-proof plan? Not so fool-proof.

All of it was sublime, but the best part was when Sugar just could not contain it any longer once Jeff said it was fake and she just busted up laughing. (First tribal council where Sugar did not cry. Wow, she REALLY did not like Randy.) Oh, man it was awesome. Just, just awesome.

And, lord help me, but I'm starting to like Crystal now. She's just cracking me up! I really do wonder if she was deliberately playing that game early on to make everyone underestimate her, and now she's letting Kenny be the ringleader which may help her come jury time. Who knows? I'll I know is that other than Corrine and Randy, I like or love everyone left in the game. Oh wait, strike that, or rather, him: Randy. Other than Corrine, I like or love everyone left in the game.

Speaking of ... I'm not even going to let the fact that Bob is (possibly) still working with Corrine thanks to next week's preview. I hope he's playing her thanks to another fabulous Sugar/Bob fast-one. Oh, it could be the bestest Survivor ever with a Sugar/Bob final two (yes, I think it could possibly top Yul/Ozzy ... an admittedly-near-insurmountable task). I know, I know the odds of it happening aren't high, but this season? Hell, it looks like anything could happen.

Oh. My. God! I watched this with my sister and we both DIED - mostly from Sugar's reaction. Every time the camera went to her we started cracking up, though Crystal's face was pretty much amazing too.

Also! Sugar giving the cookie to Matty (and then mocking the hell out of Randy for being pissed)? Further proof that she is absolutely amazing. She's definitely my favorite Survivor ever, and even though I expect she'll be voted out soon (because of her awesomeness), I'm really hoping she gets the 'fans love you!' extra million that they've been handing out the past few seasons.

Throughout the episode, every Sugar bit is just AWESOME!!! She is just so, so, so awesome. I love her so.

I don't know, she's still surprisingly under the radar. Other than pissing Randy off -- who STILL hated Crystal and Susie more -- she really doesn't seem to get much attention. For someone who's made so many important moves, she's under the radar with the other players (how it seems). Remember, NO ONE listed her as being final three possibility because they just aren't even thinking of her. I think she has a chance, I really do. It may not happen, but I don't think it's a given she's gone soon.

I don't know what people think of her outside of my own little group of fellow Survivor fans on flist, but if she's even half as popular outside of it than she is in it, she's gonna bag the fan favorite, big time!!!

Well I just figure at some point they'll try to blindside her because she has the idol. If she got to final four, she would guarantee her spot in the top three with it (unless they do the three-way vote again, which I didn't like much), and no one will want to risk being against her in front of the jury...

But then again no one has even mentioned worrying about this, so it could be that the rest of them really *are* as blind as you said..

Well, apparently, Sugar has been getting a really sweet edit (according to Charlie and Randy, but again ... it's according to Charlie and Randy) and that she was somewhat spoiled-princess like. What that tells me is that she DOES make it pretty far, possibly to the final three (or two) if they're giving her this great edit.

I sure hope so.

I wouldn't exactly trust Charlie and Randy's opinions on the matter. Not that the Survivor editors are in any way shape or form to be trusted, I mean, clearly they create 'characters' on the show, but they have to in order to interest viewers.

Ditto on the hopes though.

Right, I wouldn't trust Charlie and Randy's opinions, but the editors generally try to give those who make it to the final 2/3 either a machiavellian/genius edit OR a good/likable edit, so I can't help but hope.

Yeah, the only problem with that is that I don't think Sugar has a shot in hell of winning against those two, LOL! But hey, getting her to the finals would still be awesome.

Yeah, he is! I LOVE his eyes, but I will confess that the texture/filter I used did add a BIT more blue than natural. BUT considering how beautifully blue his eyes are naturally, it wasn't by much.

Hmmmm valid point. It depends, I suppose, on whether or not Kenny and Bob make anyone really angry in the meantime. I can't imagine Bob really pissing anyone off (other than Randy and Corinne, re: the idol) but you never know.

It isn't necessarily the shade that I love, it's the intensity! 'Cause he's just as lovely in black and white. Don't you just want to melt when he's focusing that stare on the camera? Ahh, celebrity crushes...

I could see Kenny turning people off, but Bob? I'm not so sure. Well, apparently, Sugar has already considered this and is not even thinking she has a chance of winning, but is rather just playing to get as far as she can. ::Shrugs:: We'll see how it plays out.

Wasn't that fantastic? I was dying with you. Sugar is the bomb. So awesome and yea for Bob stepping up his game. I loved Crystal talking so loud during confessional - bwah.

What a fun, fun TC that was. I can't wait to read Jeff's blog and see his perspective.

It was so, so fantastic! I loved it.

Eh, I wish I hadn't read Probst' blog because I did NOT like his comments about Sugar (probably because I LOVED when Sugar couldn't contain it anymore and lost it and that's what Jeff criticized, well, screw you, Jeff).

I usually take everything Probst says with a grain of salt. He always has a biased point of view and Sugar isn't the type he slavers over (Ozzie, James) so I can see why he would be critical.
