Hmm, Kris Allen of 'American Idol'

While I took this off of my DVR, I've been attempting to watch the performances when they're put up and I have to say I've been liking Kris Allen more and more each week. His performance (but for the last note) this week of "Ain't No Sunshine" was quite spectacular. I wonder if the cute, talented little dude might manage to sneak into the top two. I kinda like him.

FYI, Adam Lambert and Megan Corkey remain complete and utter hot messes.

I hate Adam Lambert, and I love Megan Corkey. I keep hoping she shapes up :-/

I think Megan Corkey must be about a certain style because when she sings I want to pour acid in my ears. But I know that others love her, her style. I don't. It's a love her or hate her thing, I think. I kept trying, but I gave up last week and have just accepted that I will never, ever, ever like her style of singing.

We heartily agree on Adam Lambert though. My GOD has there ever been a more pretentious, self-indulgent singer on this show EVER!?!?!? I really don't think.

I just like her whole quirky thing and I like her voice - when she has a good song. But yeah, she's a love her of hate her type.

But omg Adam Lambert :-P I wasn't a huge fan of his from the beginning, but I've wanted him dead since he did that totally disrespectful mutilation of Ring of Fire.

OH MY GOD!! That 'Ring of Fire' the most ridiculous, over-the-top mad, mad, hot, hot mess ever. Of course, his slow rendition, "real" take on "Tracks of My Tears" was pretty horrid in its own special way. He does have THAT talent, making everything he sings an over-the-top massacre of audio.

He seems to get special pleasure out of showing how little respect he has for any style of music other than his own, by absolutely destroying the spirit it was meant in.

So...what is this I hear about Brooke and Michael Johns doing a duet? That was released yesterday? Have you heard it yet? :)

(Also, they showed a preview for Cookie's new video, and the girl in it looks like Brooke. ;p Just sayin'...hee! :D )

But I'm with you on Kris Allen: where did the boy come from?! :p He's starting to get Kelly "out of nowhere" comparisons. ;)

Released yesterday? That came out a couple of months ago, January. Maybe it was officially released by Johns' people, but no that's been out awhile. It's good, I like it. But I still want a Brooke/Cook duet. :pouts:

Didn't see the Cookie video, but will when it comes out.

I'm definitely going to keep an eye on Kris Allen now that's for sure.
