I agree with all you said but about the intense, meaningful looks from JD. That is what made it go down easier for me -- he wasn't given them to "her" necessarily. I just didn't feel the same intensity that was even there with freakin' Hannah. It came across like he was forcing himself to want this, you know?
The whole thing is just so forced and contrived and I really, really hope that it is SUPPOSED to be contrived because that means that we will get an endgame of L/V or some measure of it at the end of the season.
