'Moonlight' at Dragon Con? Maybe.

Since I live near Atlanta where Dragon Con (a sci-fi fantasy convention, very popular) is held now every August, I decided to write them and ask about a possible Moonlight panel (as I figure Jason will likely being there considering he's, well, Jason). This was my email:

I was wondering if there was any possibility of the cast of 'Moonlight' (vampire show on CBS) appearing at this year's Dragon-Con? Have they been contacted or is it just not a consideration at this time?

I got this response:

I will forwarded your request to the guest committee.

So maybe if they get a bunch of requests for Moonlight and/or Jason specifically, it might make it more likely to happen. Can't hurt for those who might be able to make it to Atlanta in August (like me!!).

Oh, man, why, oh why am I not a woman of leisure?! I so want to just take off on a moment's notice and go to Atlanta! To visit you, of course, and to go see JD. Sigh. Keep us posted. :)

Yeah, I figure if a bunch of fans write and ask about it, then it really might make it happen. I don't know if I should post this elsewhere though.

BTW, I most likely WILL be going for a day of panels, so hopefully we can meet up. :D

Post a request for requests on other Moonlight boards. It definitely can't hurt.

I hope we can meet prior to September, but we'll definitely hook up at D*C if not. :D

I think this may be a very bad idea since Jason is probably one of only a handful of celebrities that will totally make me loose my cool and go all fangirl.

On the bright side, it'll be extra incentive for me to loose 15 pounds and get into some of my skimpier costumes.
