The Veronica Mars Fairytale Challenge

Here we go: Writers take any characters from Veronica Mars and plop them into a fairytale (either Grimm or Hans Christian Andersen), being sure to try and keep the VM characters as in character as possible.

Sounds interesting. I'd like to give it a whirl. I need a good challenge. I'd like to do Cinderella. Its an old classic and my favorite fairytale, no matter how cliche it sounds. Plus Veronica and Logan's story reminds me alot about it.

I can't make banners till I get back home (I'm on vacation now), but I've never done this before. Where would I put the banners?

For the banners I would just edit this entry with them. And then have all of the participants snag one. And maybe even put a banner over at Veronicamarsfic, lvfic, 09erdom, and other various VM communities that supply fic and just pimp the shit out of it.

It would be just like promoting a new community.

Or to make it all simpler, make a community.

09erdom , veronicalogan , veronicaduncan , vm_boardwalk . vm_flexdx , vm_topbunk , and especially post it here at vmshipchallenge follow the directions because only sarah_p is allowed to post but its the best place for everyone to keep track of the dates for the challenge.

Quick question though.... do we modernize our story or is it like... Since I have The Little Mermaid, Veronica is a mermaid or can we take the trials and the story line and we modernize it?

You can do whatever you want with it. Modernize it, put it in the story, whatever. The only challenge is that you put VM characters IN the roles, but keep them as in character as possible.
