I loved. Loved, loved, loved ... totally loved! And I totally called who the female guest star was, woohoo for Broadway knowledge. There was only one song that I didn't think totally worked, but everything else did and I just thought it was excellent and definitely a classic. Great, great job!!!

Absolutely. Such a wonderful, wonderful episode from the big dance numbers to the Javertesque moment by the janitor (hee!). I've taped it and need to watch it over again as there was so much going on that I know I've missed lots of little things in the background.

Absolutely hysterical, creative, entertaining and plain fun to watch!

I've been humming Guy Love all day. I thought all the musical numbers worked pretty well, there were only a few moments when it was a bit shaky, but it totally didn't matter.

God I've been waiting for this ep for SO long and it was totally worth it. Hee, "check the poo!"

I know!! I loved the Sacred Heart song, even down to the detail of Doug struggling with the corpse at the end. Hee, ZB is such a musical theatre nerd, he even stated once in his blog that he went to theatre camp, so I burst out laughing when that line came up.

And I'm glad they didn't totally exclude Sarah Chalke from it despite her being vocal-chordally (hah, chord. I'm a comedian.) challenged...because Elliot is awesome.

And if I'd have found your journal back then I would have squeed and felt special because I played the youtube clip over and over, and even found It All Comes Down to Poo on youtube about 4 days ago.

We seem to have lots of fandoms in common (VM, Scrubs, SN, Ugly Betty etc) so I friended you . Hope that's cool! :)

I saw that you were here from leucocrystal's thread, so I checked and saw that you friended me, so I friended you back!

I didn't know about the "It All Comes Down to Poo," so I only knew "Guy Love," but hey it meant more new stuff to enjoy.

Yeah, I'm glad they included everyone in the cast even those who can not sing, because it was just fun, fun, fun!!! I did think the final song was the least impressive which is sad because it was the last, but that's a small quibble.

Yeah, I didn't think the Grease-esque final number (which I LOVED, I was totally rooting for a 'ramalama ding dong') turning into the sad 'what's going to happen to me' type of song quite worked, but it doesn't matter because it was still choc full of fun. Now I just need to find audio downloads of all of them so I can play them obsessively and learn all the words :P

Lol, no it's not sad. I've only seen it once and also loathed Andie MacDowell in it, but I think I repressed her which is why I don't have that association. But I don't think I have to even ask whether it's sad that, truthfully, I get more of a flash of the ridiculously poppy KaCi cover of that song rather than David Cassidy. *hangs head in shame*

Also, I'm the queen of random, so feel free to let your random flag fly lol.

I may as well reply on this thread too, thanks for the icon, I will definitely credit! Is that one^ yours too? If so, you totally rule. There are so many great Logan moments which I've yet to find time to immortalise in icon form.

My icon journal is persnickadoodle if you want to have a look through, and feel free to take any you want. I started iconing VM regularly from 303 and managed to keep up with it for a while, but then I got busy. There's still a decent amount there, though.
