I answered no. I think she's too suspicious and keeps everything to herself. She wouldn't want the possibility of anyone seeing her innermost thoughts.

Okay. For me, I always figured she would have something that not so much is a diary of feelings, innermost thoughts, but something she uses to sort out her life. I mean, I always figured that is what she showed Wallace in ATttD -- more than the case files, but just you know the mess that is her life, in neat, compartmentalized Veronica Mars thoughts.

Well, I voted yes, cuz she's gotta let it all out somehow, now I'm thinking no. I don't think Veronica would allow herself to be vulnerable in anyway, and potentially having your secret thoughts found and read is allowing yourself to be vulnerable.

So I'm recanting my yes, and changing it to no

I said No because of the time issue. I can't work out how she manages to attend college and solve all these crimes as it is. I don't think she would have time to write stuff down!

I also agree with the suspicion stuff that others have said. Veronica is so closed off, emotionally that I can't see her writing too much stuff down.

I voted "no." Considering her past experiences, I doubt she'd keep any kind of diary/journal for fear that someone would go snooping around it. In her shoes, I know I'd be too paranoid to do so.

I'm sort of in the camp with those who think Veronica is too closed off to keep a journal, or even reflect on her feelings. I think that's why she has sudden epiphanies all over the place and also tends to be a bit hypocritical in her judgements, because she doesn't reflect on what happens to her or her own actions. If she DID keep a journal, it might help her out a bit : )

You already know my answer to that. LOL.

And I still stand by what I said: It's not the fact that she'd keep some kind, any kind of record of her thought-process. She, after all, keeps those case files. It's the fact that you call it a "diary." When you use that term, it conjures up a certain idea in a reader's mind. An idea of something Veronica would not do. At least the post-Lilly Veronica.

But I am not completely against the idea of her keeping some sort of a ... thing (LOL. I can't even name it, it would be so different from the regular diary).
